While many establishments of the Christian religion have compromised the truth
holding to traditional doctrines not held by Christ nor by the apostles, we are Christian believers choosing to be sanctified in the truth
of Scripture and Spirit of God rather than by religious tradition or popular
conventions.
The Christian Church
of God is established for a genuine testimony of the Christian faith through
restoration of apostolic belief and practice as reflected in What We Believe. Accordingly, our creed is of the
earliest Christians, the Apostle's Creed. We reject
extra-biblical Trinitarian dogma later embodied in the Nicene
and Constantinopolitan creeds of 325 AD and 381 AD. And we reject other distortions of the Christian faith
including non-biblical teachings about nature of man and about heaven
and hell.
God
our savior desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of
the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God
and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. (1
Tim 2:3-6)
