This
church is established on the foundation of apostles and prophets,
Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner. Whereas legitimate bible-based
doctrine is the basis of our fellowship and mission, we are children of God united
under common beliefs and principles outlined in What We Believe.
Indeed,
we are a church of God according to the ministry of his beloved son
Jesus (Yeshuah) whom we confess as both Lord and Christ. Truly, as
Christians we set our hope on the resurrection and the gospel of the
kingdom.
We are affiliated with other
religious organizations by our common beliefs and practices. Yet there is truly one church of
God, not being defined or constrained by the membership and affiliation
to any organized institution of religion. We recognize that we are united by the bond of
Christ with believers of other organizations worldwide.
Many
share faith in God yet are not part of the body of Christ. With those of the Jewish and Muslim faiths who worship the one God and Father, the
God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, we share with them the common creed, "the Lord our God is one Lord". Although the agreement between our biblical precepts
and testimonies is both limited and imperfect, even so, we recognize
that we all worship the same God.
